My brother in law had rhabdomyolisis once from over excersizing and not eating properly. His urine turned black!! Just making sure your getting the right care (or what comfort) you can. Very painful. 8 bags of IV fluids and Pain Meds is about it no way you have gone thru 8 bags of IV fluids sir, that would be complete blood washout, and you would have no PLATELETS left..... So in other words i find it hard to believe you have had 8000mL's of saline.... NOT HAPPENING youd be dead. Even over a period of 24hrs, your system couldnt hold that much fluid.... peeing or not.
