I got that yellow and black one for like $35 on eBay and it is working great on my sky high 1/0, I'm on mobile or I'd post my build log link I got pics in there and I'll w LPPrite a short review this weekend on it, but it works and works very well and its 8 ton, I don't see any need for 16ton, lol its 8 TONS

Is this the one you got?

Be careful with this crimper:

I have one that broke while crimping a 2/0 lug and if someone's head had been in the path of the piece that flew off, they'd likely be dead...

If you're crushing the sides that much your die is too small. If you don't have a correct sized die you can crimp with a larger one in order to shape and compress the lug and then put the smaller one on and crimp again. It's a PITA but it makes for a better crimp because when you flatten those side flaps out, they become very weak.

The idea is to compress the lug rather than crush it.
