It's like everything else, including car audio, be honest with what you are going to do with it and you'll be directed to the right choice. We had ideas of mountain bikes and then after talking about what we would be actually doing with them realized that wasn't for us. We have TONS of bike paths here in NWI and that's where we will primarily use our bikes. Combined with the fact we will be using then with the kids 1/2 the time for relaxing rides we opted for a Trek's "fitness" bike. It what bikers I guess are calling hybrid as it's not a full blown road bike but not a mountain bike either. In Trek that's their FX line. We ended up with bikes in the middle of the line up. I got the 3 series BMW with some features while my wife got a 5 series if that makes sense. Could have gotten cheaper could have gotten more expensive. The funny thing is I let paint scheme dictate my bike! lol Rolex you sicken me. Just let me finish my pie ~ Juice
finkster Posted April 24, 2014 Report Posted April 24, 2014 Oh my God, both of my bosses are super into their bikes. One is into street and the other is into mountain. They both have 6 thousand dollar bikes with a bunch of add ons. They are more into it than I am into car audio (which is cool). I'll run down in the shop and snap some pics if you want. I think the street bike is a "specialized" and the mountain bike is a "pivot" and I dont have to ride to know they kick ass. Crazy, a bike that costs as much as a fucking motorcycle.
