anyone using the AVBM II for GM 4 pin Oval alternators ?

for the 4 pin oval i use diodes on the sense wire. If you want a clean fully adjustable unit this or the XS kits are good.

I use the xs vcm on my oval alt harness.

The display buttons have crapped out twice..... they are BUBBLE type. And one or both seem to BURST. That said. I do like it. A lot.....

But, it has fucked up twice.....

I have one in my Ford exploder. I love it. Display is nice. I need to mount it in a nice location cause if a good amount of sun light is on it you cant see the voltage.

My friend had the XS power one in his suburban and loves the XS VCM. But as Kyle mentioned the buttons suck.

Meh... i think they are like 50$. I dunno. I havent paid for mine. But, id rather just use something thats MADE to do what i want...... But, kudos on you being happy.

Again, I LOVE the adjustability, and 14.8 hot charge, but, the ive been pissed more than once on the damn buttons... The one i have in now, is broken.... It takes me 30 mins to get .4v adjusted..lol.

Your not selling me on the XS very well. Although the XS is a little cheaper on price.

Dude, dont get me wrong.....

I love mine.... but, im not gonna lie, it has failed. Twice. Im not that guy that loses gear, and does not say. I know fact of people loosing subs here, that dont say. Meh..... not me.

Would i, and will i continue running it? Yes.......
