Im curious how your going to make it stay on the dash. And does it matter what kind of plastic tarp you use when getting a mold? if you were to use some cheap stuff from walmart would the fiberglass resin eat through it?

Actually, i ran some screws (left, right and center) glued into place, body filled over and now act like studs. The studs pass into the stock dash and from there i just tighten up the nuts and it ain't goin ANYWHERE

It's getting painted semi-gloss black (to sorta match the stock black plastics) because i thought glossy would be too much for this and wouldn't look as good. I am having a 3/8" pearl Orange border ran around the outside of the ipad. This gives it some flow with the other stuff i have done. I HOPE it looks as good as i vision it.

What happened to the VM1?

i am doing a series of SMD LED meters but probably will make a mount for above my head by the roll bar. I was going to put it in this mold (with the ipad) but there was no room to do it and look good.
