Hello SMD! I changed my remote clip light into a string of LEDs on the dash for better visibility.

The title pretty much says it all. I was tired of my bass knob being very hard to see and distracting while driving at 150+. I opened the case to the Digital Designs knob and clipped off the silly little light and soldered in a run of wire going to a strip of LEDs I picked up from the local auto store. This change is very simple and can drastically improve your awareness of the system. To verify that the LED strip was acting like the old knob, I confirmed accuracy on my ancient Oscope.

Thank you, its the small things that come together to make a big difference. My 5100s are easily damaged by clipping so Im pretty paranoid.

The knob that comes with the DD amps is surprisingly accurate, at least for my daily diving purposes. After a test drive this morning in very happy with the output, 9/10 would do again.
