Cardboardcat15 Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 Any battery chargers i can purchase locally that wont overcharge agms? Ive used the schumacher ones from walmart, but they sat at 15.5v charging and the xs power manuals dont recommend going over 14.6. I dont wanna risk losing my batteries. Also, i dont have the cash to drop on a nice intellicharger, otherwise id just buy that. I also need it by today, so i cant wait for shipping. Any suggestions? My Channel on YouTube. audiofanaticz Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 I have a noco genius the one in the link, great little charger, but only a 3.5amp charge, so its good for 1 group 31 or smaller. It takes a long time for it to charge 2 D3400s. They have larger models as well but not locally by me CTEK is another good brand as well Just be smart about your shopping and search well before buying. For instance Kinetik battery chargers....... Here is their 12volt chager Guess who its made by?Give up? Now their 16volt 25amp charger is a rebadge Schumacher PSC-2516A Of coarse, kinetik swaps the 25 and 16 around to be cleaver
audiofanaticz Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 You should be able to pick up that Black & Decker charger at walmart. Other wise I believe Sears carries Schumacher and Die Hard chargers, I know DieHard has a couple AGM chargers in their lineup since they also have AGM DieHard batteries. Also a place to check would be Batteries Plus. If you have any sort of speed/race shop/store where you live they may be likely to carry CTEK or NOCO chargers as well

g2shuck Posted June 5, 2014 Report Posted June 5, 2014 How is the 10 amp Mechman charger? Also I have been wondering about the sumlex sec-1215ul. Specs, model number, and design make me wonder if it isn't the same as a hf1215 with a meter added for $70 less. http://m.summitracing.com/parts/sxa-08301 2000 Toyota Camry With Sealed Off Trunk Sky High OFC Wiring DC Power 270 XP Alt AQ 2200 Sub Amp Two DC Level 4 m2 12s 80 Mil Murdetmat Gathering Parts For Wall Build.
