soundstream15
I didn't do that to the first one lol the 2500 doesn't have dual inputs, unless installing while batteries where hooked up caused issues to that one. Figured other amps where fine so should this, my mistake =(

geekybasshead98
Pull the fuse from the fuse block when you install it. At lease that is what I would do. Nikitaaa
Hmmm another problem with CT sounds amps. Probably was user error, but still, it popped pretty easily for such a simple screw up. Ive done it on plenty of amps and nwver blown a single one.. just something to think about 2007 M/T Honda Civic Coupe EX (4) Sundown Audio X-8's (2) Ampere Audio 3800.1's (3) Stinger SPV-44 Batteries (1) Mechman 240 3:1 Ratio 4th order sealed from the trunkTEAM NWSPLBest termlab scores to date in Honda trunk:151.7db legal (official) IASCA trunk 3 classBest termlab scores to date in my walled Subie:152.9db legal (unofficial) IASCA advanced 2 class155db outlaw
soundstream15
It's under warrenty no questions asked but I am lucky that he is a great guy. The wire didn't go into the input, it just touched it but caused a big spark, no smoke so thought I was good. Guess not. Swordlordboy1234
Negative off first, negative on last. No matter if you have 1 negative or 90. Both you and Jon Rabe with the shy high gmc will disconnect their amps the same way. The fuse thing was pretty good though, I like it. Wouldn't work in my application since I don't fuse between my rear batt and amplifiers. But awesome idea. Kade
Switched the power and grounds to a Hifonics amp 2yrs ago. The fuses popped and it was just dead after that. I forgot what fail-safe burns up inside the case, but supposedly you could fix it if you're handy with soldering. I wouldn't touch it though. Onlinecarstereo took care of it for me. 2009 Dodge Caliber SXT (Silver) Deck: Pioneer X3600BHS Amps: RF P1000X5 Front: RF P16-S Rear: RF P1694 Subs: 1 RF P3D2-10 Cabling: Stinger 6 channel RCA, RF 4gauge kit, SkyHighCarAudio 16gauge speaker wire.
