i still dont see the point in running an amp you have to constantly worry about and make sure everything is 100% percent in its favor. i dont care how cheap it is. after 1 or 2 fixes you might as well buy a korean.

Implying that the Korean 8K's are rock solid reliable?

IMO nobody is really building this size amp really solid and they're all time bombs.

im sorry what?

im saying after a few tests that i have seen, by Taylor fade, a few others on caco, then in this thread, the amps seem efficient, and they will do their rated power, but you cant wire low to compensate for rise even on burps, if you dont have much rise they go poof, if you dont have enough electrical in any way whether it be wriing alternator batteries etc, they go poof, there is no forgiveness. no protection circuits? or at least it doesnt seem like it.

i never said anything about a korean 8k. i dont have experience with that big of an amp but i bet 9 times out of 10 the reason that large of an amp blows is because people dont have a proper electrical.

i dont see anyone being picky and worried about everything with sundown, audioque, dd, dc, etc. my point is why not just pay more, save up a little and save yourself the head ache.

Those amps were freaking hot skillets on sunday! You could seriously fry and egg on one of them.

But I will tell you, he was going hard on them. Non-stop for 15+ minutes while he was wait to get metered. This build was one of the best sounding sub stages that was slamology. It could do low lows and higher lows. It did not give any fucks as to what frequency it was playing.

hahaha heck yeah!! thanks for responding brother! Man I wish I was able to give more demo time, people were saying there was a line to get in, I couldn't believe, still don't lol. But YES, I was beating the piss out of that truck ALL weekend. I guess just during that exta heat on sunday, with still no engine on, that bottom one went into protect and would never come back on. Thanks for the response too man, again.

i saw your car, looked dope. too bad i couldnt get a demo.

but with all amps if you are beating at battery voltage in hot weather things will protect at times. i wouldnt say thats an issue. but the fact it doesnt come back on is an issue. its like 1 and done. you just never know how long before you done lol.

I just cannot bring myself to fuck with brazilian amps. They scare the piss out of me[/quote

I've been seeing this sentiment but I haven't seen why. What's scary about the brazilian amps?

its alot of money to spend on amps that just pop when they feel like. First soundigital and stetsom and now these. It just seems like there is issues with them or we dont know what the deal is with them. For every one person who has success there are like 3 that have them pop

THERE IS NO BUILD LOG!

Sencheezy, thanks for the demo at slam man. Your shit freakin hurt my chest on that dubstep song with the driver door open and the passenger door closed. Hope you get the amps figured out.
