SWIFT
How do you like the 6.7 compared to the 6.0? any plan for mods? I hear the 6.7s are by far the most reliable besides the 2011s and their valve train issues. My 6.4 is nice but always crossing my fingers I don't get a 5,000 dollar repair bill. Love that color gray! And I love my powerstrokes! Definitely will be getting a 6.7 when I can better afford it.. Can't wait for progress I loved your other build Thanks, I love the 6.7. Its so quiet my wife never hears me pull up everyday. My 6.0 was a beast and had all the goodies done to it, honestly wish I had kept it with all the money I spent on it and it was paid for. I drove that truck for 150k before I had any issues and it was tuned the whole time. When the head studs went I built the motor and put a Suncoast billet trans and convertor in it and she was a monster. But figured I would sell it while it was fresh. This new one is almost as strong as that truck was modded and its all stock. It only has 20k miles on it and I dont plan on modding it at all. It pulls hard enough to break the tires loose from a slow roll even with the 35's and 22's on it. Plus I can actually hear to hold a conversation or not turn the truck off at a drive thru ordering food. LOL I wish the alt was where I could change it myself but ohwell. The engine bay is crammed full in this bastard. I kinda hate to wall this one as I have a nice minivan sitting at my office that doesnt get used but this truck just looks to good to not build it, haha. Dan2427
I had 4 inch down pipe then 5 inch to 7 inch tip lol I know exactly what you talking about. The only thing was it seemed to always the kids to sleep. I know a few people with stock 6.7s I know they have a couple turbo issues but man it's crazy how quiet it is sounds like a gas pick up! lifted_silverado
Nice truck, not a ford fan at all but the 6.7s are beasts for sure. Those the 22x12 gear big blocks? Glad to see another wide wheel stanced diesel on here. Tuned in for the work to be done bud Everythings in the attic or garage since the truck was sold last year. SWIFT
Yeah they are the Big Blocks. Due to space limitations and having to get this ready quickly I am now doing the build in my minivan. Not near as good lucking but it will be able to stay in my garage as the truck is too tall so the Van will be much easier to build. Sucks as I really wanted to wall this truck but there is just too may obstacles. 2012 F250 Lariat 6.7, lifted on 22's and 35's 4 DSS Ethos 18's walled tuned low 2 Ampere Audio 7500.1's, Ampere 125.4 Rockford Pro Audio front stage 9 batteries, Mechman Elite 370 alt Team DSS, Team Ampere Audio 2014 Meca Mod 3 TN State champ / 3rd place Mod 3 World Finals
SWIFT
Complete switch from my truck to a nice 02 Caravan I had sitting at my office that we dont use. Not huge progress but got the Van over to the house, got all seats out, Big 3 is done, I drilled out a hole in the floor large enough to do 4-6 runs to the back down the road. For now there is two runs of 2/0 going to the back battery bank. This afternoon I will start on putting in the head unit, running RCA's and maybe speaker wire to the front. May go ahead and look at door panel options aswell. I have a few ideas but unsure what to run. Probably 2 10's per door and one super tweeter per door. Since this is mainly a SPL and demo vehicle for shows I'm not too concerned with quality mids and highs. I need loud and clear. I also need to think about amp and battery placement. This will be a push to get completed this week Here is the victim, she will clean up good though. Atleast its not a Ugly van, LOL Just test fitting the enclosure So much room behind the wall, This is why I decided to change up to the Van. lol Here is the crappy progress photos so far. Cutting floor for the runs to back This looks like a good spot, sound deadner works great for a grommet, lol Just alittle 2/0 laying around, haha Heres the big b*tch thats going in there. 400lbs sexy birch Thats done Alternator wire ran and a new Die hard Platinum gp34 up front 2012 F250 Lariat 6.7, lifted on 22's and 35's 4 DSS Ethos 18's walled tuned low 2 Ampere Audio 7500.1's, Ampere 125.4 Rockford Pro Audio front stage 9 batteries, Mechman Elite 370 alt Team DSS, Team Ampere Audio 2014 Meca Mod 3 TN State champ / 3rd place Mod 3 World Finals
