JEFFYBOI
So my car is down for fixing and i got my 3 AGMs in the trunk wheel well under the amp rack and until i find a easier way to get them in and out without tearing shit apart im wondering does it hurt to have them sit for a few weeks without having them charged or on a charging system? i recall the directions that came with them saying something about keeping them properly charged or it voids the warranty. So it makes me wonder does it effect the life or can it damage them letting them sit for to long? Any feedback would be great thanks. Sutliff
I will add that I store my car every winter with an XS 3400 ... outside storage. I unhook everything from it, & just let it hang from approximately December 1 until March 15 - April 1 with nothing on it what so ever. Last December I measured it at just shy of 13.1v, & on April 2 it was at 12.45v. I hooked up a proper AGM charger to it for a bit that took it over 12.6v, then started it up with the new 240A ALT I installed in the meantime, & all was fine. Now I have a XS 975 in the trunk for AUX power, & I intend on treating it the same way this upcoming winter.
