philrab
Fuse to the size of the wiring. That's always the ONLY correct answer. You want the fuse to blow before the wire melts down or starts a fire. 2015 Toyota Tacoma Build Thread 2007 Mazda 3; 5000K HID's, Kenwood Excelon KDC-X997, Infinity Reference 6.5 comps in front and coaxials in the rear doors, JL 320.4 four channel, Rab Designs built ported enclosure with an SA12, Kenwood monoblock, Redline Leater shift boot/e-brake boot/center console cover, JBR short shifter/shifter bushings/rear motor mount. FocusOn20s
300a fuse would do you no good. Wire for the amperage of your alt, then fuse for the wire I have a 150a alt stock, so I used 4 gauge OFC for my Big 3 and used a 150a fuse

Omega5002
No point in fusing the charging wire IMO, if the factory didn't fuse the stock, then why bother, just run the wire correctly, away from anything that can pinch/cut it, preferably along the stock charging wire. 2003 Kia Sorento Team Subsonic LowsTeam Bassin' on a Budget2016 Rebuild Under Construction Best score: 150.2 at 40hz (3k, 2 Custom HDC3 15's) Usaci style(door open, in the kick)
