slowfkncar
Budget? An sq3500+hdc418 will get you pretty fucking loud for way way less then a Rockford T2/2500bdcp. probably run you around 1250. Sadly, the 3500.1 is one if the most robust amps I have ever used and one of the cheapest real power amps I have ever bought. I payed less for each of them then I did for each of my saz2500's. Which BTW, ended up on my desk for some capacitor repairs. *BTW nothing wrong with sundown. They are a good Brand. Just had a bad experience in 2012. I got a good deal from one of my boys because he was mad it didn't have bass boost, lol. He was hella upset when i put it in my shit.
Aj11
not to vs thread, but price and quality compared to say..fi,dc,sundown? i mean are they contenders? oh and your not loud unless you bass boost! hahaha +12db or go home. jvc deck stinger 1800 front hc 2000 kinetic rear 2 runs of 1/0g big 3/4 ct 60.4 2 ct 1400.1 ct EXO 15 d1 lots of deadner type r comps front stage 6 kicker tweets rear stage lots of great stuff coming soon ho alt more bats ct comps for front stage more deadner sweet amp rack lots of L.E.D lights new deck (thinking 80 prs, or flip out)
slowfkncar
this is more of a question then a answer for the thread but mmats? i hear great things but have no idea how much they are compared to other brands I used to nuthugg mmats everyday. We were an authorized dealer for 7 years with mmats. We dropped them in 2011. I have nothing but good things to say about the woofers and speakers, they can take a brutal beating and sound good at the same time. Speakers built in germany, woofers&s built In florida. I used the pro 3 way set front and rear paired with 2 dreadnaught 12's and an mmats 2100.5d The reason we dropped them is because the amps were so picky about current, ended up with a stack of bad amps because people would use them on stock electrical. Oh and its real pricey. Wouldn't really say budget brand. Prices are like sundown.

notorious97200
I don't feel Sundown is really on the pricey side. You can find much more expensive brands out there. But if you have a smallish budget, any brand can sound good. Focus on the install, and be sure to get a god box for the subs. If you want to save money, get the speakers you like, and save on the amplifiers, save on the power. Just my 2 cts ;-) black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp OEM head unit, Amplifiers : Audison AP 8.9 amp with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200. Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats. 2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a 2.6 ft3 ported box. SecondSkin Damplifier on front doors, and Luxury Liner Pro for the cargo area.
