jimm417 Posted August 31, 2014 Report Posted August 31, 2014 i know you can custom order them i was wondering if anyone knew if i could order a platform 2 12 that is dual 4 ohm idk why all the companies are dual 1 and 2 only and im put this in a 99 s10 im gonna use a soundstream rubicon 2500.1d and a crescendo s800.4 for mids and highs imm gonna get one extra battery to start i also need to know how big of a alternator i need i cant figure that out i was thinking 250 amp maybe 270 idk also is the rubicon a good amp or should i go with something else?

For all you know they could possibly only offer up to a 200amp unit. That or maybe they make a 250, 270, and 300 but the price different between each is only $20 for the next size up. Gotta see what there is and what your budget can afford. Imo try to get an alt that puts out as much amperage as your average total needed. Then you can spend less on batteries and save weight. Call psi to ask them if they can get you a dual 4. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.

If you want to run at 2 ohms just get a d1, series it to 2 ohm, and then your set down the road if you ever want another. Just series/parallel wire them to 1 ohm and let that amp Wang!
