Hey guys.

I figured I would start a thread on the dually we are slowly (very slowly) working on.

First off I would like to say this thing is my baby. I had to get rid of my last truck due to "a few" issues we had on the way back from Slam last year. So my imagination is the limit on this. This thing my dream truck so it will be getting a lot of love over the next few years or however long it takes for my ideas to run out (unlikely).

This is my daily so it wont be anything insane; I don't think.

It HAS to be reliable enough to pull our 35k pound trailer across the country to shows and back without breaking lol so with that in mind I have an idea of how this will go.

Stereo is last on my list. Eventually it will get a mild build. Probably like 8 8" DC Audio m3's with a little custom twist to them in a blow through. A set of nice door speakers in each door, a few extra batts and an alt. Nothing like we are used to building around here but something extremely nice that sounds great for those 40 hour trips to Slamology lol

Its got a few engine upgrades already.

-EFI live tuning

-DPF/DEF deletes.

-EGR Delete

-AFE intercooler pipe

-S&B intake

-AFE 5" Exhaust (straight)

-More engine stuff to come at some point.

Suspension:

Stock for now. I have 75% of the things i need to do bags on this truck here in the near future. All we need is the ridetech controller and some brackets so that will be soon.

-Interior:

-It's been fully sound deadened already with all Sky High Car Audio 120 mil deadener.

-Headliner is alcantara, along with sun visors to get rid of the silver top with the black leather bottom half. We are still working on the pillars they are all cut up now but they will be black like the dash with dark grey alcantara hand sticked handled in them (when they get done).

-Seats have perforated alcantara inserts that have been completely redesigned.

-Many of the interior gold pieces have been paint matched.

-Eventually I will have the rear 60/40 bench cut down to (2) 40s and have the port come through in the center. This is so the rear seats can still fold up (as opposed to captains) so my dog can ride in there still.

-We will cut the door panels up and make speaker flush mounts in them eventually.

Exterior:

-Almost everything has been paint matched

-All badges are gone.

-Headlights have been pulled apart and painted

-One off custom grill made by Status Grilles with SHCA Logo in the center.

-All lights, including all marker and running lights, have been tinted with candy black.

-It has 20" spoked wheels with Nitto Dura grapplers on it (all 6 have been changed).

-One off custom SHCA lug nut covers are in production now and should be ready soon.

-Running boards and front bumper are a pain because its actually coated in plastic so we can get powder coat matched and do those like we would normally do. I will have to figure out what to do about those to get them matching.

-Thats about it for now. I like how simple it is.

Ill upload all the pics to photobucket later on today and get you some pics of what it actually looks like

Make sure to follow this thread. As I said it will be slow but it WILL be worth the wait :)

Full air bag suspension?

Thats cool. Im way too old to be upset by shit like that. Your name is winston. Your own parents hated you even before you were born.

My penis is bigger than your penis

I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle.

Full air bag suspension?

yup it will have air in all 4 corners. links with custom 14 bolt watts link in the rear.

i have 24k pounds of rating in bags for the rear. itll get the ride tech controller and valve block with level sensors (self leveling with or without weight itll be the same height) instead of being pressure based basically. i already have the pump (belt driven) etc etc its gonna be a task.

it wont get knotched for anything crazy. but it will be able to get about 10-11" below stock height and be able to return to stock height for the max.
