timewarp
As i was gathering the last of stuff i needed to start installing my system , I bought 2 runs of 1/0 wire to run to the 2nd battery. Unfortunately i only got sent 1 of the runs , so i need either to buy more wire or just use 1 run for now . is a second run needed for 2500 watts ? Amps are fused 150 and 100 , pos wire is sky high 1/0 ofc under 15 foot between the front and extra battery .
ROLEXrifleman
At 250 amps of max current draw you should be fine. 2 in your case would be nice, but the gain in some people's eyes wouldn't justify the cost. With that said I still think your fine with one. Rolex you sicken me. Just let me finish my pie ~ Juice
alaskanzx5
That wire is rated at 300amps right? One should be enough 2 would be better imo, room for upgrades. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz. Rich Schenk
One will work 2.would be better but its up to you depends on if your going to upgrade down the road . In my eyes you can never have to much overkill on electrical. On 3/28/2014 at 4:22 PM, KyLar96 said: Its all about the music anyway..... Kyblack76
The demand means nothing. If you have a stock alt, and put a 10k in the back, does that mean you need 4 runs to feed the 10k? You just need to OVERKILL a bit, on WHAT YOU HAVE to play with. If your alt does 100amps. The amp you have (demand) doesnt dictate runs? Why would it?
