OrionStang
Anyone hear running Juice Box batteries? Im curious to know how they hold up over time. There is a good deal for a Black Cherry(G31). I know they tested well on Taylor Fades test, but will they continue to perform over a 2-3 year period? mcfalcon
Sometimes you have to ask about newer products. Still learning but have started gathering.
walwalka
They aren't really that new though, If I remember correctly they have been around since early 2010. I find the lack of info on them kind of unsettling. 2010 Honda Civic LX / Deck: Kenwood DDX371 / Front Highs: Crescendo RTS-1 / Front Mids: Silver Flute 6.5's / 4 channel: DC Audio 90.4 / Sub: Fi 15in SP4v2 / Sub amp: Taramps HD 5000 / Power wire: Knukonceptz OFC 1/0 / Deadener: Audio Technix 60 mil / Batteries: XS Power D5100R / Rear bank: TBD / Alternator: Singer 240a hairpin
mgameforever01
I was wondering the same, you don't see many people talking about them long term, but for that price I'm going to give them a shot.
Kyblack76
If your running one or 2, that could be easier to swallow, than if you bought 20 of them. Tfade seems to like them, and hes done a tone of testing, as you know. For the price Ken, snag one, and give it a whirl. Ahmed Johnson
The way I look at it is, if I have to ask. It's not worth my money. What? That's one of the reasons forums like this have been made. I was curious about these and the block shakers but comments like this is why I wouldn't even ask. dangaranga
I got mine at the end of July, it still rests at 13.2v. It is holding up very well under load. A local here has two of them running two sundown scv3000 amps @.5ohm each with stock alt and he demos the shit out of the system and holds low 12s for a couple songs and let's em recover for a couple min and keeps on going. I live a couple miles from glb where Kevin Ross works, and he is a great guy. Edit: I got my black cherry cheaper than the black Friday price too Brandon 2000 Furd Ranger supercab 4x4 System: welding wire throughout the truck USalts 390amp Hairpin Juicebox in stock location 8 Banks of maxwell supercaps 2 American Bass Vfl 1100.1 wired to .35 each 2 Fi Audio Sp4 18's ( the DD sc 9918's smoked) Pioneer radio with Soundstream PA mids Powered by a nice sized soundstream 2 channel It's pronounced (dain-ja rain-ja) 2001 2 door focus 1 DD9918 SC
