Dragonware Posted December 7, 2014 Report Posted December 7, 2014 Hi Guys Im a little confused how to use this. after I turn up my volume on the headunit and find its max...do I back the volume down when I move to the amps ? Or keep the volume at max.? Also all settings on the headunit are flat. Can i re set them after without cuasing problems ? What if I also have a line driver after the headunit, audio control matrix they have 3 gains one for front rear and sub, do I have to use those gains to set it self ? or the DD1 will help me ? I also have an Audio Control Epicenter between the line driver and my bass amp. can you tell me how to set this up ? last question should I ditch my bass knob from the amp if I am also using the bass control from the epicenter ? Thanks as detailed step by step will be appreciated since I am renting a DD1- i dont have time to play around. ToNasty Posted December 7, 2014 Report Posted December 7, 2014 no, you leave the hu at its max volume before distorsion, than i like to use track 5 for the amps. I used to have a dd1. the directions are pretty clear ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers

OrionStang Posted December 7, 2014 Report Posted December 7, 2014 Yes it does. Set your head unit volume, then set the line driver gain, then set the amplifier gain. And yes, all crossovers should be set to open or full pass while setting. READ THE MANUAL. Its all there. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
alaskanzx5 Posted December 7, 2014 Report Posted December 7, 2014 Step 1 Disconnect all speakers Step 2 Eq to flat, all gains all the way down all filters off Step 3 choose your track and play it Step 4 Find max volume Step 5 Starting with the gain closest to the head unit inline with the amp your dd-1 us connected to turn it up and set for no distortion. Do this all the way down the line to till you get to the last gain controller Step 6 Repeat steps 1-5 till all amps are done Step 7 Set eq and filters. If your using a bass boost or remote for the amp you can adjust it for no distortion and mark that spot. Do t turn it past that and its your choice to take said risk. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
