Jeff4661
You could also stack 3/4" MDF rings until you reach desired length and glue them together. I will try this at some point. with that kind of route you could literally do any size or length of portWhen u try it I'd like to know how well it works Current build 05 Yukon SLT http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/195350-jeffs-05-yukong-wall-build/

RooTxBeeR
I am laughing so hard to the comment of how 4th order bandpass is not good box design. Good job raptorman, show them what's up. Souldrop
I don't think anyone said it was a bad enclosure design, just that it has different design goals/outcomes that more often than not aren't optimal for a given situation. 1997 Lexus ES300 HU - Pioneer MVH 7350 Processor - Helix DSP Front Stage - JBL P660C Mid/high amp - Alpine PDX-F4 Subs - 1 IA Death Penalty 12 Sub Amp - Cactus Sounds PF300.

If I had the balls to do a REAL cut on my truck, I'd be making use out of the front and rear waves rather than just one. I could get a flatter, happier response with a regular ported box than I can with my 4th bandpass. Smoove had the right idea with his blowthrough to let both waves do the talking.
