juan777
So a lot of big systems with this dash that I've seen always have broken vents and cracks. So we tried to prevent that by sound deadening and shaving the vents off since they would've broken off eventually and we didn't want to ruin the paint job, or at least preserve it as much as possible. Hell, the vents were already breaking when I had 2 18s in here. Plus it's a small detail to make it stand out a bit. CaptainWhoosh
Are you going to put something in the vent holes? Maybe some screens? Nice build man!! We don't do it for the glory.
juan777
Are you going to put something in the vent holes? Maybe some screens? Nice build man!! Maybe, we discussed it. Like a mesh grill out of fabric or metal somehow. The dash is in and it looks great as is, the vents aren't really the thing you see most on the dash so I'm not super worried about it. We may do something later once the dust settles. I'm more worried about the enclosure design and overall sound, my cousin is in charge of the look and shiny stuff. Pics of finished dash coming soon. Shouldnt need to put anything on top unless you use your dash to store garbage. lol
