greg4510 Posted February 24, 2015 Report Posted February 24, 2015 Hey help me and a friend settle an argument. he has 1 18 inch soundqubed hdc18 in a 6.5 cu ft box 100 sq in port tuned to 33hz. im trying to convince him to change it up and do 2 hds315 in a 8 cu ft box 125 sq in port tuned to 33 also. he has a soundqubed aq 2200d for power. please tell me im right so I can show him

I think the hds315 wired down to .5 ohm would outshine the 1 18 but we both kinda don't wanna go spending the money to have whatever we don't use sitting aside so really just was seeing what you guys would think about it

I would rather have that amp on a single coil than spread across 2 coils that are underpowered.
