Big Cup Of Coffee+ 3yr Old Daughter Vs My Pc Hahaha

Recommended Posts

well got home from work on thursday after work and was enjoying a Hot cup of coffee when my duaghter came in and knocked it off my desk and onto my tower.

I built the pc back in early 04 it was truely a badass machine, Abit IC7g mobo with a intel p4 3.2ghz northwood (a very nice chip IMO) dual 10,000 74gig raptors, 2 gigs of corsair ram 600watt psu, raidon X700 pro, Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum sound card, 11 fans I could play any game out at any resolution I wanted to and had no issues until Battlefield 2 came out.

so I shut it down as quickly as I could, got the wet vac out and got as much coffee out as I could but I guess I was'nt quick enough on cutting the power, because all I get is the blue screen of death, hard drives cant be found!!!! wont boot from any disc or nothing, mobo seems ok when boot up, I get the abit soft bios menu, ram checks out ok, voltage across the board seems normal, nothing out of wack, no errors other than the HDDs cant be seen in soft bios.

sooo.....

I need to tear it down, clean it up real good.

what do you pc junkies out there use to clean up mobos?

hope fully I can clean it up real good and buy a couple of new raptor 150 gig HDDs and be ok untill I can afford to build what I want.

electric contact cleaner.

thats basically denatured alcohol but in compressed air it really depends on how bad the spill is and how sticky it is. my water cooling system started leaking on my video card and it took a ton of alcohol to get that shit off cause it was so sticky.
