Quad alt belt squeak

Anybody else have that belt squeak in between gears with quad alts?

It's an 05 burban with the 5.3l, and I'd love to get this shit to stop squeaking. Aftermarket tensioner, or different belt, (I'm using gates green stripe atm), or any real suggestion would be awesome.

Thanks

What belt do you have?

Mine is manual tension so I can put it as tight as I need to avoid slippage. However... Look into the gates HD belts. Get the shortest one you can possibly fit, that way your your tensioner is wound as tight as it can. You can also see if you can track down a stronger/stiffer belt tensioner

mine squeel when i get on the gas when the truck is shifting gears, and i have 3 alts.

Best bet is to figure out if you can add additional idler pulley to tighten up the belt wrap around the alternator pulleys.
