I've used multiple Rockford power series amps and never once have I had one go bad.

Matter of fact I've used even the prime amps and never had one blow.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

like I said.. I need something to last me for a few weeks while I get some money together and figure out what I want..

So why are you going to spend money in order to save money? That's pointless. Just save up, life will continue on without an amp for the amount of time it takes you get the amp you want.

the ground terminal was already melted when you bought the amp? why did you buy it then? thats a dead giveaway that something has gone seriously wrong in the past.

plus the rust. amps dont just rust in the inside unless the dude strapped it to his sea doo.

you're probably going to have to spend a few hundred to get that thing back in working condition. not worth it.

edit: also i dont understand what you're trying to do with that box? is it a ported box? 4th order? it just looks like they're free-airing.
