best work boot for me has been Wolverines dura shock..... the jell pads that are built in have saved my knees.. i wont buy any other boot

they go up to a15 and you choose width as well

If you go Red Wing then pay the cost and get Red Wing brand. I got a cheaper one from them that was about $80 when the next low price was mid $100 and less than a year later the outside sole is ripping apart. I'm night gonna go cheap next time.

I'd like to know if everyone moisturizes there boots....mink oil and shit. I don't do it, and my redwings are damn near dead, only about a year old. A work boot to me shouldn't need to be babied to last long.

Wolverines were the most comfortable I've tried, but didn't have them long, they didn't feel durable. Keen was next in comfort and felt solid but heavy....and expensive.

Kind of disappointed in my red wings, I've had work boots half the cost last just as long.

prep and maintenance of boots are just as important as the boots themselves

Im gonna try redwings. My dad gets a discount on them and can extend to me. Ill pick up a pair of clip on met gaurds.

looking at king toes with an 800 last. 6" boot at this point. No 8".

Not sure on the sole tho. Vibram or the softer type? Im leaning towards the harder vibram as it has a puncture plate in it but not as soft for walking.
