So you didn't use the same source as before?

source as in cd? I used a cd That alpine408 had the first time. This time was my own cd. Maybe I'll try a sweep again and see

You are getting alot of useful info here, but you're comparing apples to oranges to begin with.

Going from 2 3800's wired into the dirt to 4 3800's

im not really expecting much, spite maybe a bit more for my psyclone runs (if i can hold voltage) but for burps, im not expecting much of a change until i work the box over (shrink internal volume, and or open the vent).

Ill be testing with in the week, im 95% sure of it.

TIm went from 2 nendo 5500's at .35 to 2 TFE's at .35 on his mayhems...

He did gain....... a fair amount i might add. Subs still run cool, and he wangs on them for countless songs back to back.

(he and Ray actually piss me off lol..... they have some magic wand up their buttholes or something)

Did a sweep, Peak changed to 44hz. But still doing about the same on the termlab. 147.0... test on music and did something like a 146.8 i think. Voltage was stable 13.1v.

I adjust the gains using the DD1. Used -5db track to set the gain. When I had the old Nendo 3k, set it with the same track -5db. Now in theory if what some of you are

suggesting that Im exceeding the subs limit, creating more heat therefore making the sub ineffeicant. If I were to set the gain on the amp using say 0db track, therefore dropping the power, I would/could get a better number?

You definitely need to lower your gain! Most test tones are recorded at 0dBfs, if played when gained for -5dB heavy clipping is inevitable.

Current setup

Banda Viking 10k x2
