Pawn shops around my area pretty much have guns. Lots and lots of guns. I'll check though.

Movado makes a pretty decent cheap watch. They wear nice and look pretty sharp. I wouldn't bother trying to get an automatic in that price range. You'll need to really up your game to get something nice.... even the well made automatic movement high end fakes (Japanese made) start at around 350$

Try Watchstation.com, they are usually at outlet malls if you have one in your area and have a good selection. I stick to the basics, depends on preference really. Adidas has a nice lineup of watches as well and get plenty of compliments on the black/gold one I own.

Movado does not make anything in that price range, even their low end line esq swiss doesn't have anything priced that low.

You can get citizen Eco drives in that price range if you catch a sale.

The ecodrives are not self-winding but they work from catching light to charge themselves but they work very good and as long as you don't leave it in the dark for extended periods you'll never have an issue with it.

With a self winding watch you will also have to buy a watch winder for when you aren't wearing it with the ecodrives you won't have to buy anything extra.

one thing you don't know is if you like a 36mm , 40mm or bigger watches. Do you like the metal finish on your wrist all day or would you prefer leather? How does that leather feel when its hot? is it going to be too heavy for you? Lots of things to consider when buying a watch. Its a very personal experience.

If that's a real Balmer he's offering you for $150 you better jump on that op.
