Looking at possibly getting a new woofer/system, the sp4 just seemed like it was too cheap for a 3000 rms woofer (when something like a sundown zv4 costs 200 more and is 1000 watts less). What you should be asking is why is everything else so expensive? That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
