Wicks Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 Thoughts? https://www.yahoo.com/tech/youtube-announces-ad-free-paid-subscription-170808297.html I'm down with it. Getting real sick of being forced to watch a 30sec ad just to check out a quick video of something.... Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with content producers getting paid for their popular work, I just hate watching ads for which I have NO interest in at all. There's got to be a better way to do it. Broke_Audio_Addict Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 Unless they are going to give that money to the content creators fuck them. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
Qiraat Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 If your going to pay the 10 bucks for no commercials, they should give u the paid for videos and movies with it.
audiofanaticz Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 iirc content creator will get a small cut. I know a lot of big channels already moved to vessel over a year ago which is subscription based, and that was after youtube tried making it illegal to sell your own ads in your actual video because they get no cut.
tboorn Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 it also seems like a sly way to say there's going to be a LOT more commercials going on Fidelity Built to Last Team Sound Asleep 24Runner Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/196657-24runner-sleeper-system-lots-of-fi-neo-dd-focal-new-video-w-juicebox-lithium/ 2 x 12" Fi BTL N2 / 2 x 12" Fi BTL N3 2 DD M3b Maxwell 2.7V 3000F Supercapacitors Pioneer DEH-80prs Focal P165 V30 components Rockford Fosgate T-400.4

audiofanaticz Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 You do know that adblocker is working with ads to allow legit ads from things like google ads to be shown right?
