Read up on the power the constitution gives the President. They ALL did this very thing, ALL of them. I have said it before, look up executive actions and orders by the numbers. Nothing he is doing is really going to effect legal gun sales and is sure as fuck won't stop assholes from killing eachother. I will say that gun sales here are through the roof again. If I didn't know better I would say he was planted by the NRA. When Regan shit on us with expanding the NFA and cutting the amnesty period short (an amnesty period that is required by the very legislation he signed) and making it so only rich people can really afford to be a hobbyist in what is now known as the NFA world. It also made some people rich. All of a sudden there no select fore rifles to be found and BAM. It's announced that there is a new law being looked at banning the manufacture and possession of newly manufactured select fire or automatic weapons. Then all of a sudden a $400.00 rifle is $5,000.00 and a select few people have stockpiles of registered NFA items and the rest of us have to sit by and watch people shoot their Mini gun because we didn't have the political clout when the winners were picked.
