ShadeTreeMechanic
I got a coupon from Sonic Electronix for 10% off so I found this. This tiny powerhouse is heavy for its size too. Big terminals. Also comes with 1/0 adapter for power. Lots of stuff on the signal end. Lots of small transistors along one side. Four big fat transistors in the middle. Numbers on the board. I hooked it up on the bench to a 50A power supply and a full range box with 2 15s in it. Bridged on two channels, I soon had the speaker box dancing around on the bench. This thing puts out the current and handled the bass turned up all the way on the head unit nicely. This is my first class D amp for my front speakers Sonic Electronix has the dyno video on the same page where it is listed. Over 100 WRMS per channel, I can't wait to put it in the truck. 91 C350 Centurion conversion ( Four Door One Ton Bronco) 250A Alternator (Second Alternator Coming Soon) G65 AGM Up Front / Two G31 AGM in Back Pioneer 80PRS CT Sounds AT125.2 / CT Sounds 6.5 Strato Pro component Front Stage CT Sounds AT125.2 / Lanzar Pro 8" coax w/compression horn tweeter Rear Fill FSD 5000D 1/2 ohm (SoundQubed 7k Coming Soon) Two HDS315 Four Qubes Each 34hz (Two HDC3.118 and New Box Coming Soon)
hdorre
A buddy runs the NVX variant of this. It puts out and has bad ass x/os. Taylor even did a test on this PPI. Seemed to do alright power. ShadeTreeMechanic
I just hooked it up and it sounds great. It is in place of my Fosgate P200.2 in a DIY chassis. Now I can continue with the dual mono addition and install my other board. (Two P200.2 in same chassis) The PPI has a slightly different sound but it is louder and I tried to set the HPF the way it was on the old amp but all I know is that it is set somewhere between 20hz and 400hz about half way whatever that would be. It will take some tweaking to get it dialed in. Im not sure if I can hear the difference between class A/B and class D. I read some reviews somewhere from 2012 that said they got a great deal because it was on sale. Regular price $230. They got it for $199. I bought it on end of year sale for $174 and used a 10% coupon for $157 to my door. I think the sale runs to the end of the month. Coupon code: BLISS16-S7Z53 This should be good until the end of the month too. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_38338_Precision-Power-PPI-P900.4.html (If I am not allowed to do this please let me know) 91 C350 Centurion conversion ( Four Door One Ton Bronco) 250A Alternator (Second Alternator Coming Soon) G65 AGM Up Front / Two G31 AGM in Back Pioneer 80PRS CT Sounds AT125.2 / CT Sounds 6.5 Strato Pro component Front Stage CT Sounds AT125.2 / Lanzar Pro 8" coax w/compression horn tweeter Rear Fill FSD 5000D 1/2 ohm (SoundQubed 7k Coming Soon) Two HDS315 Four Qubes Each 34hz (Two HDC3.118 and New Box Coming Soon)

That's what i was thinking but it doesn't sound like 210hz so i dont know for sure. I slowly turned it up until the speakers were not trying to play the lowest bass. What's that SMD meter called that does crossover points? 91 C350 Centurion conversion ( Four Door One Ton Bronco) 250A Alternator (Second Alternator Coming Soon) G65 AGM Up Front / Two G31 AGM in Back Pioneer 80PRS CT Sounds AT125.2 / CT Sounds 6.5 Strato Pro component Front Stage CT Sounds AT125.2 / Lanzar Pro 8" coax w/compression horn tweeter Rear Fill FSD 5000D 1/2 ohm (SoundQubed 7k Coming Soon) Two HDS315 Four Qubes Each 34hz (Two HDC3.118 and New Box Coming Soon)
MrSkippyJ
CC-1 you will find lots of variance in where they will be set though, it's basically pointless to try guess. it looks like it is 1/2 way but it could be set at 80hz... ShadeTreeMechanic
Update: it has been a little over a year now with the PPI amp. I moved it to the rear speakers about 6 months ago and was running it bridged. Today it quit working, kind of. I noticed that there was no sound coming from the rear speakers so I started to un plug the rcas and as soon as I removed the first one, the speakers started playing. Both of them. So I unplugged the second one and plugged in the first one and it played the same way. Plug any single RCA into any port and it plays both speakers. Two rcas get no output. Sounds like something went bad on the input section. If I am lucky it is still under warranty. 91 C350 Centurion conversion ( Four Door One Ton Bronco) 250A Alternator (Second Alternator Coming Soon) G65 AGM Up Front / Two G31 AGM in Back Pioneer 80PRS CT Sounds AT125.2 / CT Sounds 6.5 Strato Pro component Front Stage CT Sounds AT125.2 / Lanzar Pro 8" coax w/compression horn tweeter Rear Fill FSD 5000D 1/2 ohm (SoundQubed 7k Coming Soon) Two HDS315 Four Qubes Each 34hz (Two HDC3.118 and New Box Coming Soon)
