battery bank wiring help

ordered 2 more xs d3100s from Showtime car audio going 2 have 2 batteries on each side of my port just wondering on how to properly ground the second set of batteries.

My current setup

Do I ground all batteries on same frame rail or one set on each side being that this would give shorter ground path. Don't want to induce noise etc. ty for all your help

the difference in length is pretty negligible there so I wouldn't worry about that part. The second way seems like it might end up being cleaner looking, other than that there isn't a huge difference in the two options.

Positive is positive and negative is negative. Electrically there is not much difference in your proposed configurations. It mostly depends on what is practical for your installation.

I am far from an expert with this stuff (barely knowledgeable to be honest), but I don't think this is what is meant by a ground loop. I thought a ground loop is when a piece of equipment had multiple ways to ground it self (like the pioneer headunits when the pico fuse blows, it grounds itself through the RCAs instead of the chasis ground). Grounding your batteries in 2 different places wouldn't cause an issue like this.

Try to keep your frame grounds short (again, not a major issue) and tightly ground them to bare metal of the frame and be done. Spray it with some type of rust protectant (rustoleum enamel for example).
