Are you using silicone to seal the terminals or do they come with some type of gasket? That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. Box is getting carpeted and the carpet should be a tight seal one its compressed by the terminals, I usually spray the carpet glue on a little heavier where terminals go also.
