Floyd341 Posted March 28, 2016 Report Posted March 28, 2016 Sure there are tons of opinions. Currently have 2 JL 12W3's, Kenwood DDX23BT radio, and stock 6.50 door speakers. What would be the best 6.50 components to go with this setup? I was thinking the JL C2 650 I think. Don't have to be JL, but I want the best sound to match the Subs and custom ported box. Pretty sure the door speakers are gonna be null and void with these subs. Thanks...

No need to recommend a comp set that costs $500 if your going to use a $150 amp to power them with. Remember you may want an amplifier, and wire, rca, sound deadening, wood speaker rings,...... black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp OEM head unit, Amplifiers : Audison AP 8.9 with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200. Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats. 2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a sealed box. SecondSkin Damplifier on front doors, and Luxury Liner Pro for the cargo area.

ckeeler11 Posted April 6, 2016 Report Posted April 6, 2016 You can get lots of recommendations but its best to go listen to as many as you can. what sounds good to others might not sound good to you. Especially when it comes to tweeters, some are more pronounced (harsh) then others.
