Just a general consensus on who here runs lithium and what your experiences are with lithium batteries etc?

Have like 0 knowledge on those batteries lol.

this thread might become a very good read.... like lipo batterys in other things they hate discharges and cycle count but is way less than any conventional power cell but no battery memory so it would be nice to see people say they do great 5+ years

Yeah, like I'm interested in them for the amount of weight they can save in big installs etc but I want to know if there as reliable as my D3400 that's been starting my car for years now even when it sits for periods of months without being charged.

Like I'm curious as to the average life span of lithium, how many ah per 1k (avg), and some more pros and cons from people with experience in it,,

I've been running a Juice box lipo 40ah for a tad over a year With TFE 8.0 before the Juice box on a DC 320amp alt,G34 in front and 2 g31s on back amp wired at .5 I dropped to 11.8 almost instantly and down to about 11.4-11.6 after a 30s bass race run added only the 40ah lithium and the lowest I've seen was 12.5 after about 2 songs demoing

So you don't think the 40ah could hold the amp alone?

I asked Kevin about running an 8k ona single lithium and he said a 40ah would hold just fine with a DC270xp alt..

4 packs per battery

Specs per pack:

Length= 4.57

Width= 1.81

Height= 7.28

If my math is correct, this can be arranged for a height of 7.28", width of 4.57, and length of 7.2"

A d3100 for example has a height of 8.4", width of 6.8, and length of 13.

So JY is just over an inch shorter in height, like 6 inches shorter in length.... but just over 2" wider.
