You read too fast : he has 2 Single VC, so he can only wire to 2 or 8 Ohms ! Get the PPI amp, it's cheap and not so bad ! Personally I love JBL, and their 500.1 looks fine ! RF is a good choice too. You have enough amps to chose from. It's up to you. black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp OEM head unit, Amplifiers : Audison AP 8.9 amp with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200. What's the difference from the PPI and the Hifonics where the PPI has one set of RCA input and two speaker inputs while the Hifonics (and most other monoblocks) seem to have two RCA inputs and four speaker inputs? I couldn't find any concrete answer, only something to do with signal strength perhaps? He's going to be able to run dual subs fine on the one pairs, right? Most of the time there aren't two sets of RCA inputs. One is a pass through or even an output. As far as the speaker inputs it makes it easier to just wire straight into the amp if you are running multiple speakers.
