We're facing it forward and sealing it off but if I put the port on the side it is partially blocked by the trunk opening. I can put it in the middle but its easier to build this way and I feel like its more efficient. Only about 25% of the port is blocked what do y'all think? By the way hrs using (2) DD 2512's and hifonics 3200.

On the box im building now its blocked by sheetmetal 3/4" tall and 3" wide, not enough to make a difference but it already bugs me and I havent even loaded the subs yet.
