Under $1,200 Sound Quality HU

Recommended Posts

If i cant afford the dex-p99rs whats next best? Im not completly comfortable paying 1200 for just a HU. Used is not an option for me. Is there a cheaper model without as much settings/programs but same build quality? Budget...below 1200 Lol. Has to play cd, and bluetooth, or atleast able to use a high-quality Bluetooth adapter. Any recommendations are appreciated.

I run P99RS here if you are doing a true sq build it is a nice unit. If you go with other units you won't have 8 channel's like the P99RS offers. If you go with cheaper headunit you will find a DSP will be needed.

Do you have a bluetooth adapter? If so, what kind? Also do you use the optical out?? Whats the point of only one optical out?

You have $1200 to spend but you can't afford the p99rs?

I'm confused

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

Do not confuse cheaper with less expensive.

Quality always comes with a price and will last for many years of excellent performance.

What cracks me up about people that do not want "USED" equipment are idiots, your passing on an opportunity to get some quality equipment for a good price, while most are well taken care of, you do come across equipment that has not been well taken care of. Most people that buy top tier gear take very good care of what they have and do not abuse it.

Use the Pioneer Bluetooth adapter here, no other adapter will work. Around 150.00 to 200.00 for adapter. There is no optical out. Optical out not all that on car audio.

Maybe you should edit your post to state you want a cheap head unit. Orion is a reputable guy here lmao. That thing is practically new. Be a little more honest and give the guys on here a price you're willing to pay/spend on a unit.
