8 12s or 2 18s

I would bet that the 8 12s would sound better than 4 18s and probably be able to take more power without sounding maxed out.

can you fit 4 18s in that car

According to my measurements, yes.. the baffle will have to go floor to ceiling unlike how many walls are seat height to ceiling..

seeing how I had 2 18s and 8 12s in the same truck, 8 12s shit all over the 18s, and you do realize how big a 8 12 wall will be right?

What 12 and 18 did u have? For the SA 12s, they'll need at least 12 cuft.. I'd give at least 16 or more depending how it graphs out in win isd..

fully maxed out I bet you have 30 cubes before port displacement.if you take your box into the trunk you could get closer to 40, it depends on your willingness to squeeze every little inch out your car. I vote 8 12" subs, pretty cool visual plus the cone area. I am running 4 18" subs in my mazda 6 but contemplated doing 12 12" subs but a local competitor did it first in his 4 door so I didnt want to bite off his ass.

8 12's would be good, hell SA's can take 750 or so watts for hours at a time. the new ones are even rated at 750. now, i ran 3k or so to 4 of them, you run 8 you could go 6k.

now, if you are running 8 SA's thats about 1600 bucks. that will buy you 2 18's that will take 6k daily but not 4 of them that will take 12k.

now you do the math from there

Why do you want to choose only between those subs : SA and X's ?
