Now that the carpet and padding have been removed, I can design a floor for my amps (mids and highs).

Still need to mat all the metal, but its coming along.

Rolling stock update:

Got the new shoes

225/45-17's came out ~1/4" taller rolling diameter than the stock 195/65-15's, helping fill the wheel well a bit. The rear is gonna sit lower after I finish the wall but I'll figure it out once its a problem.

Although, I must say, I am more than pleased with my offset. No poke. No fender roll. Just enough tuck to handle the Houston roads. *almost* flush.

Also installed the GM Performance Suspension... Shock valving from the Sonic RS and a 20mm drop (opposed to the 10mm in the RS).

I like how you started with suspension upgrades.

Thanks Smoove. When I bought the car, I immediately fixed the most noticeable problems with the car: low torque and body roll. Used Trifecta tuning to gain ~20HP & ~20lb-ft and a DDM Works roll bar to control the rear roll.

The front end doesnt roll much since the front strut towers are built into the firewall. Very rigid by design. But the rear uses a stamped steel torsion bar that doesnt do much for the ass end. I really hated drilling (2) 1/2" holes in my stock torsion bar, but the DDM bar that fits in place works very well.

Decided to clean up the RCA runs with proper markings and lengths now that the amps are in the final locations.

My order from dB-r finally arrived. I'm trying to source from local vendors as much as possible; dB-r is about 20miles from here. It took Chris 6 weeks from the date of order to ship this amp, but he took care of me along the way. We'll see how she plays very soon.
