AlexwiththeCanyon
I have one hdc3 12 on a 2200 right now and i haven't replaced the stock door speakers yet, but need to badly because they can't get loud enough to keep up without distortion unless I turn the sub level down. The stock speakers are 5.25's but I think I am going to trim it out to be able to fit 6.5's for better mid-bass. Trying to find a set of components because I can't run active, in about the 150-200 price range. Will be powered off a Q4-90.
Ron36
I'm a big alpine type R fan that's what I run but u need more power to them , I'm giving mine 125rms each, When I first had them was running 85rms and was not impressed but was told they need more power to wake up and that did it. 2022 Ford Maverick on 22’s Skar SK1500.1 on 4 Skar VD-8’s Mids Sundown Super tweeters, Skar TX 6.5 components on Skar SKM400.4 LC2 for audio control , XS Power D680 XS Series Extra Battery
AlexwiththeCanyon
Yeah my buddy just bought two sets of Alpine tweets and they sound pretty good. And I kinda wanted to stay with the Soundqubed amp.

slowfkncar
A decent bang for the buck imo would be something like CDT's CL-61A.2-25 PRO, they even make 2 ohm models. Ct sounds meso 6.5 is also a decent bang for the buck.

Ive also been looking at the Ampere Dream Series but their RMS is somewhat low for the price point.
