i would say no. but i have been told they can. gonna depend on so many variables, rise, and such..

i had 1 md3d with a .6 load and it soft clipped at 50hz at full tilt

Just found out the recones I have now are dual 1's with quad spiders.  I think that is what I will stick with.  I have not had any problems with the amps shutting off or even getting hot.

That explains going from 155 to 157 with no other changes.

Time to start the box mods.

i thought all 18's were 3 spiders. I know the 15's are quad's but wow .. hell i even asked for quad's on my 18's and got fed a load of crap.

thats correct, usually the 18's have 3 and the 15's have 4.
