Best enclosure type for a wide bandwidth ?

A sealed enclosure is the only enclosure that would have a bandwidth like that. A 4th order enclosure can yield a bandwidth close to that.

What about a transmission line? I've read those get a very flat bandwidth. Is that true?

Any really .... A ported, time,  and  RTA is one,  on paper you can have that response but as soon as you put it in a car that response can change a lot ... Ray had a pretty flat response hitting like 150db from 20 to like 60 too lazy to find the thread it was a fourth order Blow through

I forgot I had asked this, and actually found this thread doing a random internet search, as I was still wondering the same thing 🙂

 

Anyway, thanks guys. I hate sealed enclosures. Built about 4 of them and they all sucked.

I will look into 4th orders for a wide bandwidth.
