Good luck with the jb weld, its good stuff i'm just not sure it can handle that much pressure.i think its that pot metal shit and you cant weld that. If I would hazard a guess at how it happened I would say the basket was already cracked/weakened from dropping the sub and then somebody dropped the sub box with the sub mounted in it and all that weight being dropped finished it off.
