Amps That Are .5 Ohm Stable

im looking for an amp to power my sub. i'm looking for something that puts out 2000+ watts at 2ohms and is .5ohm stable for more power when i'm feeling frisky. my budget is $1200. i'm pretty sure i have the power to support it. any ideas? thanks

2 SAZ-3000D's second hand or 2 refurbs for $1400

Give you 6kw @ 2 ohms strapped and closer to 7kw if you strap them into 0.5 ohms but you'll have to roll the volume so only good for burps... and you'd better have a lot of electrical if you go with this :)

He said 2kw+ not 6kw+ I'm just not sure how we went from 2 to 6 :unknw:

i got the 1ohm dvc btl by accident i ordered the 2ohm but im not complaining i love it. it's a good thing i bought a dmm or i would have run it a .5 thinking it was 1ohm thats why i'm looking for a new amp. sorry david i know this question gets asked a lot i searched the forum and different audio sites for price and specs but non of them say if they are .5 ohm stable. oh yeah is it safe to run at .5 for daily?

Why not run it at 2ohm on a 2500.1 or a 2k6d?

Subs are like titties, They need to come in pairs because ones and threes are just wrong, and larger amounts will always draw a crowd, we all have our favorite sizes, but the bigger ones are more fun to watch move. :D
