I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

Thanks for the great replies guys, I'm going to try and stretch the fabric today, but I need to setup my terminals in the amp mount as well.

Not sure how much I'll get done tonight, I've gotta go get my moms car fixed, not sure how long that's going to take though... :(

Grr, didn't have time to get any real work on the boxes today, but I did snap a shot of how the box fits, as well as some concept of amp and cap layout.

The amp is going to be raised up a tad so that I can fit a LED strip underneath to allow some glow.

There's his cordless makita, then there's two corded makita's, an old cordless makita and black&decker that the batteries are shot on and it's basically cheaper in the long run to just get the newer stuff out than to order replacement batteries for them. The black&decker uses some POS batteries in my opinion. It was my brother's he had with a kit of a drill, circular saw and flashlight, and he went through 4 batteries with it in about 2 years then he gave it to me and I got a new battery and it lasted about 4 months for me before it finally went to hell. :(

lol i hear you on that. when i was doin HVAC work, we went to get a sawz all repaired, and it was damn close to being cheaper to get a new saw altogether. it's ridiculous lol.

looks really good man! lots of progress as well. one thing i saw when you test fit the sub mock-up is i think you might need a little more clearance on the bottom of the magnet if the DC's is free air. i believe you need a couple inches? i'm not sure if the magnets are vented or not, but if they're not then nevermind my statement. just somethin i wanted to throw out there so you can fix it early on

Hmm, man idk, I don't have the subs yet, but I think they are vented it looks from the pics.

Damn, I never knew anything about doing that, what's the advantage of that, or shall I say what's going to be the problem with it? In the picture that cardboard mock sub I have is about a 1/2" taller than the specs of the actual sub so I am going to have a tad bit more than in the picture I know.

Only problem right now is (well there's 2), one, I've been working my ass off from 8 in the morning to after 9 each night this week. I'm not sure how late I'll be working tomorrow, but hopefully I'll be able to have enough time to run my speaker wires atleast (I got a tad bit of 12 gauge from my buddy). :D

Other problem is I just realized the other day that I could have mistaken the specs on the site when making the mounting rings. On the site it says "mounting hole diameter (9.25)" Now with other sub manufacturers that means the size of the hole you cut out for the sub to sit in, however I'm terrified to think that might be the screw hole diameter. I've never worked with DC's.

If it's the screw hole diameter that I cut, then I need to make new rings before putting the stretch over.

If any of you guys know the answer to that I would LOVE to know asap, I PM'ed rusty on it already, but he's yet to replied back.

Thanks for the great comments guys, I probably wouldn't have been able to get as far as I have without all the info and everything I've learned from everyone on the forum.
