I would find a squirrel cage style fan as I have found them to move the most air. If budget is an issue I would go with just a regular fan simular to the ones used in desktop computers. I would find a squirrel cage style fan as I have found them to move the most air. Amalan Posted August 6, 2008 Report Share Posted August 6, 2008 why wouldnt a fan help if the amp is in "fresh" air? i would assume it would work how a laptop works have a fan bringing in "colder" air and another fan extracting the heated air. Boon Posted August 6, 2008 Report Share Posted August 6, 2008 You probably want a crossflow fan mounted in a kind of cool way, but you could just slap a couple of regular fans on the amp wherever it gets hottest and it'll still help cool it enormously.
