Ding Ding Ding. It allows the resin to actually run into the kerfs easier as it is poured onto the area to fill. It also gives more surface area to the actual kerf cut for the air to escape through. Make a small practice piece and try it yourself. You'll see first hand b4 you do a full box that way so you can know what to expect. As far as the NW Audio questions, yeah you very well may have seen me/The Kia there since i usually hit almost all the shows there since its so close to home for me.
