honda Posted October 2, 2008 Author Report Posted October 2, 2008 Here is a little vid I took late last nite so i was playing it real light. Im not talking thuderous bass here just good bass. The tube from home depot is a little on the thin side unlike the actual sonotube you can get from a concret supply store. But i think its resonate freq is high and i have the Low pass set at around 50hz. I put a pretty thick window seal tape as a gasket as you can see in the picture to help reduce resonating of the enclosure. So far no problem and sounds real good, especially for a sub around 30 bucks (90 bucks with the amp). Maybe if i put wrap it in carpet i would lessen the resonating charactarestic of the box. Anyway I just built this for fun and just ended up pretty successful. so now im gonna go ahead finish and make it look good. I was thinking of using wallpaper or carpet and staining the endcaps...any ideas to make it look more like it belongs in the livingroom?
