s1795so2
looks good man! Just a suggestion though, I can see the actual neon tube and sides through the plexi in one pic. To cure this you might want to take out the plexi and sand the backside of the plexi with a real light grit sandpaper. This will make it where you can not see through the plexi and also spread the light evenly. It is all a matter of personal taste though, so whatever. But other than that looks damn good. -Steven-

andym85
thanks guys, these positive comments really boost the ego and make you wanna do more and keep at it, which is exactly what we all need. i tried to make the slots for the neons as to where you couldnt see the black mounting parts. for the most part it worked out, but as you can tell, they can still be seen at certain angles. im not real worried about it though, it all came together a lot smoother and nicer than i had anticipated. and in another year or so, when i graduate college, its all coming out for something drastic....so for the time being it works for me. and after listening to it for awhile now, it does seem a bit louder with certain songs...i will get it metered sometime this week and update you all on the number... i likes me some audio stuff... andym85
i also put this reply in the nomination section: just got back from getting my car metered. before i sealed off my trunk i was doin a 143.2 between like 38-41hz in the kick. now i do a 143.8 right at 33/34hz in the kick, which is exactly where im tuned at. i also did dbdrag style, on the windshield and everything sealed and that did a 140.5, which is what i was expecting. i played track number 3 on the new jeezy cd. when i had the highs on, i was hitting a 139ish. when i turned the highs off and cranked it i was holding a 142/143ish. so i think if i found the right song, i could easily bassrace in the 139.9 class so basically my score went up .6, but my tuning also dropped about 4 or 5 hz. i likes me some audio stuff... David
quick question, did you seal it with foam or anything? if you didnt, it will get louder if you make it air tight between the cabin and trunk. looks really nice, very professional looking, A+ bro.
